2018-2024, Thailand entered the elimination phase (2018-2024) case detection has become more difficult, requiring health workers to think creatively and prioritize populations most at-risk. The majority of remaining cases have shifted to geographically, socially, politically and culturally hard-to-reach areas. These areas migrant and mobile populations (MMP), ethnic minority groups, and those engaging in illegal cross-border travel and forest goers.
